The 2024 UK Robin Hood £5 was issued as part of the Myths and Legends coin series, following on from the third coin in the series, Morgan Le Fay £5 coin. The reverse featured Robin Hood, stood amongst the trees in Sherwood Forest, at-the-ready with a bow and arrow in hand. Designed by artist Jody Clark, whose work has been seen on other UK coinage, such as the 2014 Britannia and the final Queen Elizabeth II effigy. Clark’s fine attention to detail is captured in each branch, leaf and every feather in each arrow. The Robin Hood £5 coin was not only be the latest addition to the Myths and Legends £5 series, but, was also be the first in the series to be dated as 2024.
