Her Majesty the Queen has dedicated an extraordinary 70 years to the Crown, with a commitment to her people, communities and the Commonwealth nations. To celebrate, The Royal Mint have issued a £5 coin series. The second of three coins pays tribute to Her Majesty’s advocacy and support of charities, with a design by P. J. Lynch that focuses on Maundy Money, a symbol of service. Importantly, these are the first UK coins ever to include The Queen’s signature – uniting each coin in the collection.
