This coin was issued in 2021, as part of a series celebrating 50 years since the first publication of Roger Hargreaves Mr. Men and Little Miss tales. This coin, was the first in the series and Adam Hargreaves’ design features Mr. Happy’s instantly recognisable smile in the centre. For 50 years, the Mr. Men and Little Misses have been delighting children and adults alike for generations with their charming, cheeky and, clever antics. The reverse design features Jody Clark’s 5th portrait of HM QEII.
