Coin Information:

The Royal Mint sparked great excitement with the surprising announcement of the release of 26 BRAND NEW 10p coins into circulation in 2018. Their theme is the A-Z of Britain and these are the first ever commemorative UK 10p coins. This 10p features the letter ‘W’ inside a spider’s web, to represent the World Wide Web. It was invented by English scientist Tim Berners-Lee in 1989, and has since been central to the development of the information age. 220,000 were issued for circulation in 2018 and 63,000 were issued for circulation in 2019.
