Years of issue:
2013
Coin Information:
This £5 coin was issued by the Royal Mint in 2013 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's Coronation in 1953. Her great-great-grandmother, Queen Victoria, is the only other British monarch to have celebrated this milestone. The reverse design of this coin features the Imperial State Crown, which was worn by Her Majesty on the day of the Coronation in 1953, and the inscription is taken from her Coronation Oath.
